Description
The flagship EOS R1 is equipped with a newly developed Accelerated Capture system and deep learning technology, bringing a variety of revolutionary new features. The EOS R1’s 24.2MP full-frame back-illuminated stacked CMOS image sensor supports cross-type autofocus1, offers 40 fps2 electronic shutter continuous shooting, and in-camera recording of 6K 60p RAW and 4K 120p MP4. The new generation Dual Pixel Intelligent AF system has added advanced features such as Action Priority 3 AF and Registered Person Priority, and combined with Eye Control AF, it brings revolutionary performance to AF tracking.

EOS R1 also ushers in new changes in short film shooting, supporting Custom Picture (CP) color presets derived from Cinema EOS, and for the first time adding Canon Log 2 with a 16-stop dynamic range. To further integrate the workflow with Cinema EOS, EOS R1 also introduces the XF-AVC S / XF-HEVC S professional file system of the Cinema EOS system.
